San Jose development companies are incorporating many new "green" strategies in their homes to make their product more eco-friendly. Falcon Court by Pinn Bros, located off Almaden Expressway, incorporates: triple paned windows, tankless water heater, energy efficient appliances, radiant heating, properly faced buildings to enjoy morning sun and avoid hot afternoon sun and, coolest of all, solar roof tiles. Rather than have solar "boxed" panels on the roof, Falcon Court uses solar roof tiles that are intended to look very much like regular roof shingles except that the tiles are photo-voltaic panels that can generate enough electricity to make the home almost "electricity" bill free. These new homes are green and have earned the coveted "green" certification from the building industry.
