Keep the home monitored while you are gone. Add a security system if not already present. Having a watchful eye is important. You can have a trusted person or a hired individual check on it from time to time. That same person can tend to any home updates, if needed.

Whether a home is near the airport or the highway, one may become use to the noise. It best to visit the area of interest during different times of the day. Do remember to take resale value into consideration before you buy.

Summerlin has excellent existing and up-coming shopping! Boca Park and Tivoli have shopping and dining, and Tivoli's upcoming addition (which doubles the size of Tivoli) will include H & M, and some other great shops.

Also, you have the Shops at Summerlin being built right now, which is a huge outdoor shopping mall:
