He is probably a Temp Tech. These are long term contractors that work with the DoD. He probably also does the traditional one weekend a month two weeks a year deal too. Seems legit.

You get access to the community pool, and you will be in one of the MOST sought after school district there is...Lincoln School district. Brookside also has the lowest crime rate in all of Stockton, and with the fees you have landscaping services for your front lawn, and a nice clean community. Hope this helps. We are currently trying to find a big enough home in Brookside with a backyard pool to rent for our family strictly because of the reasons I just gave you. Good Luck. :) ... more

Better to seek a skilled tradesman/craftsman

Handyman refers to a "jack of all trades, master of nothing"

if you need drywall repair, call me. Kevin Yates.Craftsman. hourly rates. 25yrs in trade.Great references.
hang/tape/texture/smooth wall finishes/custom textures.209.594.8032

handypersons are not required to have a license from Ca. St. Lic. Board ...But are limited to only $500.00 labor & materials at an address, period. Not a 500 for this phase and more later.Don't let them tell you different.Piece work ~ pennies/sq.ft or $/sq.yd. adds up pretty fast.Don't get stuck with an unfinished project. With regards to materials, purchase materials yourself, reason being that is a felony for a handyman or a lic contractor to make a profit on materials, and where they can't make the extra dollar or two they will certainly buy some extras to save for a "side" job.(profit).You buy the materials,so you get the receipt,so you know where you stand.

Check (map 6077c0315f) to be sure but as far as I know all of Spanos Park is considered:
Zone X
Other flood area
"Areas protected by levees from 1% annual chance flood"

Parts of northern Spanos Park may fall outside this protected area. I do not know if it floods there often of not but there seems to be pretty good drainage and places for the water to run off to when I look around that area while passing through. Be sure to select a home that sits on a crest and not one that lies downhill from a street. You will also want to be sure the driveway does not slope too much downward into the garage.

Most to all of the homes in the Weston Ranch Area have Mello-Roos. It is a special tax in newer home neighborhoods to pay for the upkeep of curbs, gutters, and streetlights.

The best way to find out if a property has Mello-Roos is to look it up on the Tax Assessors website, or ask your Realtor (r) to look it up. ... more

One helpful thing to do would be to contact a few property managment companies in whatever market you are considering investing in - they will tell you some of the areas that are most desirable and what typical rents are for those areas. It does matter what your long term goals are, however, it has been my experience and what my clients have purchased - Brookside, Spanos West and the Spanos East in that order. These are some of the most rentable areas. Downtown Stktn around UOP is another great choice - good luck ... more
