Most areas near SouthPark (center of Charlotte) hold their value or tend to rise. Most neighborhoods here seem to keep the renovations going since the trend in this area is usually very good. If one neighborhood is not quite for you, look at the next subdivision, & the next one till you find what you are looking for in the SouthPark area. There are many different types. Currently there is a shortage of homes for sale along Park Rd corridor, since so many people wish to live near SouthPark.

Nearby is great shopping, restaurants, the Greenway walking path, Park Road Park, the LightRail, easy access to I-77, I-485, & can get to Uptown or Ballantyne easily. Location, Location, Location! and throw in some Modern Charm!d

Call for more questions or to look. See great listing in Montclaire at 1823 Wedgedale Dr, Charlotte

No; with the distance proximity of this house & the mature trees throughout this Montclaire neighborhood, it is hard to tell where Archdale is. And I have not noticed traffic sounds from it. Wedgedale Dr is a quiet neighborhood st. This Montclaire neighborhood should continue to rise in value over the decades due to the fabulous location of being in the center of Charlotte near SouthPark. The homes & yards in the surrounding look good & many homes are totally renovated & modern inside. The similar house next door just sold this month above list price, with multiple offers for $252,800! Others in this Montclaire subdivision & Madison Park... & up & down the Park Rd corridor are having very similar great housing sales & also renovation trends. Call for more questions or to look at it. (Also check OPEN HOUSE schedule.) This house will not be on market long.

I am not a Realtor, but I work in the industry, so I don't have to skirt around the issue like a Realtor/Broker would.

Starmount is already gravitating more towards the Latino community. You can see it with the businesses that have sprung up and replaced old ones.

As of the 2010 Census Starmount is:
50% white
26% Latino
17% black
4% Asian
0% Native America
2% Multicultural
0% other

Since the 1990s the Latino population has increased dramatically in Charlotte. In the 1990 census Latinos were 1.4% of the Charlotte population, at 5,571 people.
