Because you are Trulia and/or Zillow check out Tampa realtors reviews and read what they say. Just because someone is listing agent it doesn't mean they are qualified to be a realtor. Because this will be a long distance relationship you want to make sure the agent you are working with is fully qualified to do so. So read reviews and make sure you choose a realtor with more than a few sales under their belt. You want a full time realtor too. Would you trust getting your hair cut by someone who did it part time on the side? A lack of experience and focus is not what you want to get the job done right. Are you currently working with a realtor in your home state? My company has a referral service that works with brokerages around the country and they have a list of well qualified agents to assist you. Good luck and congrats on the move! ... more

Many things will have to be considered to determine your home's value. From repairs made to repairs/upgrades needed.

Do all of your walls need painted? Is your carpeting old? Have you made any expensive upgrades? Do you have gleaming hardwood floors and neutral decor? Each room and floor of your home has to be evaluated as well as your neighborhood and any unique features.

Definitely contact a good Realtor in your area to go over your home and it's potential value.

Hi! Typically it can take anywhere between 2 to 6 months between Listing it For Sale and actual Closing. It will all depend on how well you price the home as to the value & market. The Assessed Value available for Tax Purposes won't necessarily be the actual Market Value for Resale purposes. If interested I can be of assistance in answering any questions you might have and giving you accurate figures as to Market Value & Comparables to your property. Hi Denise,

I've taken a look at your listings and it appears as though we get them from Remax.com, not your MLS. If there is pertinent information that should be shown on the property page on Trulia, I would recommend that you add that to the listing description. You can update the listing description on Remax.com and we should receive those changes, or you can edit the descriptions directly on Trulia in the My Listings section of your account.

I hope this suggestion helps!
