Hi,

Thank you for reaching out. Please kindly wait for 24 to 72 hours (maximum) for your listing to be active on Zillow. You can edit your property listing once it's already active on the site.

As a general reference, Trulia does not have a central platform to post/edit listings. Instead, listings are sent to us through a variety of feed sources such as partners, brokers, agents, third-party feed providers, or directly from an MLS.

Your listing, specifically, is being sent to us from Zillow, which is our partner site that sends us listings.

Any changes you are requesting to your listing on Trulia will need to be updated at the source, Zillow. Here is a helpful link on how to edit your Zillow listing:

https://zillow.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/215448047-How-do-I-edit-my-for-sale-by-owner-listing-

Your changes will automatically update to Trulia within 24 hours.

Thank you for using Trulia!

Your agent should be able to advise you on the different loan options that buyers have. With VA and FHA (government backed loans), they will do a special appraisal that is basically a mini inspection. If you have any peeling paint, roof damage or appliances not working, they won't approve the loan until those items are fixed. Otherwise, it's just like any other loan. VA can sometimes take longer to close, but you really should be asking your agent this question. And your agent should be in close contact with the lender and see if they anticipate any issues. ... more

Figure 8% cost of selling, or 92% of your selling price goes to you. You then need to subtract the mortgage payoff amount to arrive at your walk away money.

Unfortunately, a house cannot be responsible for your finances, each home is individual, and if you get the price wrong and unrealistically too high, it will sit on the market too long and depreciate then cost your more later on as you will have to sell at a below price. The buyers set the price, you need only to find the right one. If you would like to chat call Milestone Realty ... more

Dmumma,
While there are seasons in selling, the current reality is that inventories are still so low that well presented homes and condos are selling anytime. I just had a multiple offer sale in Sammamish and had a buyer miss out on a multiple offer house in Redmond.
My suggestion for timing will have more to do with your needs and plans than the calendar. I'd be happy to explore options with you at no cost or obligation as would any other local Broker's who may respond.

Nowadays, most buyers are requesting homes with no carpet. Hardwood floors are a great selling feature and I do not think it is wise to cover them up with carpet.

If you are ready to sell ~ then sell. A massive ad campaign can break all norms. Yes, most sellers sell in the spring and summer, which means competition from other seller. On the other hand, buyers are looking year-round.

However, if you are near a summer lake or ski resort area, it would be best consult the local real estate pros for their thoughts. If the property is located in the suburbs or inner cities, I would hire the best agent and start preparing your home for sale.

Hello Aaron,

Trulia does not allow For Sale By Owner listings. There are several other sites that do, however. Here are a couple:

http://www.forsalebyowner.com/
Craigslist.com

I would highly recommend using a Realtor to represent you in the sale of your home.
