Cindy Nagle answered:
Your first step would be to speak with a loan officer at your bank or a mortgage company. They would be able to determine how much you would qualifiy for in terms of purchasing a home. They will also let you know what mortgage programs you qualify for which would determine how much you would need to put down. Typically the minimum is 3.5% down with a FHA loan. Property pricing is still competitive in the Syracuse area. This area in general did not see a huge swing in housing prices, no extreme highs and then lows. If you would like any assistance with your new home search please feel free to contact me at, Thanks, Cindy Nagle RealtyUSA ... more
