I would say if it is not a short sale and it's been on a market for a long time- they may consider lease. Otherwise, don't waste your time and just look for a house that is for lease. Sometimes the same house is listed for sale and for lease. Depends on the best deal offered to seller.

Taxes in Michigan will vary from community to community and school system to school system. If you're looking at a specific home, why not "Google" the Official Website for the Community in question. Often, they will have a link to "Assessor" information where you can simply type in the address and gain access to the information you seek regarding taxes.
