There are no foreclosed properties for sale on Alvord place or off market. There are two for sale currently one who has recently dropped the price.

It is dangerous only if removed. It is the fibers in the inside of the siding that causes cancer, not the outer coating. The best way to deal with asbestos shingles is to side right over the top of them. Typically that would be with vinyl siding. Leaving the siding there causes no health hazards to the homeowners and it will add R-value to the new siding. ... more

I would suggest you try the regular rental sites:

http://www.craigslist.com
http://www.apartments.com
http://www.trulia.com (Rentals Section)
http://www.zillow.com (Rentals Section)
http://www.realtor.com (Rentals Section)

Between all of those, you will get a very clear picture if you can find what you are looking for. Good luck!

Migdalia,

Do you have a buyer's agent in the South Hadley area? If not, ask friends/neighbors/family if they can recommend a full-time realtor for you to work with. (S)he can advise you on the market in South Hadley, and specific properties.

Good luck in your search!

StonyBrook is a great community. I just helped a couple downsize into StonyBrook from the home they lived in for over 30 years. They report that the neighbors are very caring and look out for one another in a friendly way. The construction seems to be top notch. The home inspection went very well. The level of construction seems to be solid, and the finishes are just right on the model homes - not over or under done. Feel free to contact me for more specifics. ... more

Sounds like your problem is with mlsmyhome.com.

You did the right thing by trying to get your house listed on the MLS. The problem, I'm guessing, is that because mlsmyhome.com uses agents around the country, the one assigned to your area isn't performing as he/she agreed to.

If you can't get mlsmyhome.com to respond, contact the Texas Real Estate Commission: http://www.trec.state.tx.us/ mlsmyhome.com should be (hopefully is) licensed in its home state of Texas. Here's a link to filing a complaint: http://www.trec.state.tx.us/complaintsconsumer/default.asp

I'd suggest one more attempt to contact mlsmyhome.com. If no response, immediately file a complaint with the Texas commission.

Hope that helps.

Hi Carol,

The MLS system that services South Hadley goes back to 1993 (19yrs). If you are looking for some specific sold property information please feel free to contact me. Looking in the Registry of Deeds database will get you a lot of information but to my knowledge it won't give you any sort of reports.

Best of luck,
Lou
