Is that information in the contract you signed when you started at that office? I would check into this with a Real Estate attorney in your state, take the contract with you. It's worth an hour of time and the cost, because the listings could be "co-listed" with you and another agent ( not in your office) even if you are way out of state.
The buyers can be referred for a % consideration to other Realtors. These clients represent your income and hard work and I can't see why you should not get paid for it. Good Luck!

Oceanfront Guru can be an option for you as well. I'm a young agent there and they've taught me everything I now know. The leadership is strong and only $50/month for marketing. The $200 per transaction sounds too good to be true. Most agencies around the Myrtle Beach area will take somewhere between 50-20% of gross commission.

Welcome to the area however and look forward to doing business with you.

If you call the South Carolina Real Estate Commission 803-896-4300 I'm nearly certain you're going to be told this would be prohibited. It would be no different than if licensed Realtors were to accept "referral fees" from a home inspector, lawyer, lender, or contractor. ... more
