If you have used SCR's standard contract for sale/purchase agreement, it covers everything so that your agent can keep track of the deadlines and have smooth deal. Due to insufficient information, it is hard to give justifying answer or solution. First of all we do not know whether you were being represented exclusively by buyer agency. ... more

Rental rates can vary significantly in Mount Pleasant depending on the specific location, proximity to beach access, schools etc. Generally speaking rental rates will start on the low end at +/-$1.50 per square foot and can run as high as $3.00+ per square foot based on location and amenities. Generally speaking for a new build in the Old Village I would assume a rough starting point would be something like $2.50 per square foot and could go higher.

You can view all the homes for sale in the Old Village area here:

The Condo Association is responsible for the property coverages for the exterior of the structures including wind/hail coverage or riders. But it never hurts to ask your Condo Association to provide you with copies of their policy and associated provisions. As the owner of a unit you should have coverage for your contents and the interior of the unit.

If you need some referrals to good agents in your area I can provide those to you.
