Dear Apt Owner,

If you need downpayment funds for buying a new place and If you have equity in the apartment you sell, you should consider selling your apartment first.
However, If you decide to keep your apartment and buy another home, you must be qualified for both houses.
If you have your current home for sale, you can certainly use the "sale contingency" which means that you will not purchase the new or existing home until your home is sold. However, Please note that most of the home builder or existing sellers do not like the idea of "sale contingency".

I do lots of business in South Brunswick and Monroe area. Should you have any questions, Please contact me at my Cell # 732-277-9321.

Hi, unfortunately for many buyers these types of situations are real and do happen. You can request confirmation that your offers have been properly presented or even request to be present. it doesn't sound like foul play but I only know what you are telling me. If you are sure you haver been played with I recommend going to the agents principal broker and speaking with them. They can help with the situation or even assign anpother agent to you. If you haven't signed an "exclusive right to represent" contract with the agent you can dissolve your relationship at any time. The agent may argue that they were the procuring cause of the deal so you should speak to the broker about that as well and what your rights in your state are.

Home Owner answered:
I had the same misgivings when we purchased our house in 2000 because the back is a water detention basin. But I have lived here for 11 years without any problems whatsoever. The water goes away after the rain. My kids enjoy kayaking after the rain and sledding during the winter. Mosquitoes don't breed because the basin is dry during the summer. The township maintains it year-round. ... more
