Hi Mthompson0211,

The good news is you may not need a grant since Somerset KY is an area that is eligible for the No Money Down USDA mortgage.

Your closing costs can be paid by the seller or you can roll them into the USDA mortgage as long as the appraised value will allow.

Take a look at the recommendations from some of my past clients on my Trulia profile by clicking the link below my phone number.

Please feel free to contact me for more information or help.

Hey Chad,

Before you throw your money away trying this, make sure you understand how the mortgage underwriter must treat the deal when it comes time to pay off the seller. It isn’t what you expect and they cannot work around it, they MUST follow the guidelines. Good luck,

There is only one HUD right now in pulaski county, it is on jasper street downtown. For some reason they have not released any new ones. There is a bank repo in the city also. I would be glad to help you find some property. Contact me at 606-875-1263 so we can talk for a minute and I can email some properties to you, so you can preview them. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank You,
