From the address you posted (13226 2nd St.) the travel time is approximately 39 minutes to go 28.27 miles from Fort Myers Shores to Fort Myers Beach.

The travel time from a centralized location in LA03 in Lehigh Acres the travel time is approximately 37 minutes to go 23.31 miles.

It seems like your investment in Lehigh Acres would get you a newer home for the money spent and have less distance to travel to the beach. Great question by the way and let me know how I can further assist you.

45 minute to an hour, with mostly stop and go travel through most of Fort Myers no matter how you route it.

You should consider Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, North Port or Rotonda. All are much less crowded than Ft Myers, far less traffic and the beach is no more than 30 minutes from Port Charlotte and only 10 - 15 from Rotonda. Prices are comparable to Lehigh, Cape Coral and Ft. Myers. The beaches are unspoiled and uncrowded. Great places to live.

Take a look at this report:

You can view homes on a map and even see a street view. Let me know if you have further questions.

Neil is correct. Also, any travel would depend on the time of year. There is more traffic and slower drive times in the winter and early spring than the summer and early fall.

Anne, from this property you are an 45-60 minutes away from Fort Myers Beach, a little further to Sanibel, Venice, or Bonita Beach.
