There are numerous places to shop within the Frederick city limits... all dependent on what you are looking for. If you are into antiquing, the historic downtown area has some amazing shops within walking distance of Carroll Creek Promenade, enjoy fine dining and a nice walk.

There is Francis Scott Key Mall, Everedy Square Shab Row, Westview Promenade, again Downtown Frederick has plenty of places... just all depends on what you are looking for.

In 2013 Frederick made CNN's list of America's Best Small Towns. Downtown Frederick is home to some of the best shopping and dining around. See the link to Downtown Frederick Partnership with a list of all that downtown has to offer. http://www.downtownfrederick.org/members/members/index/2

Hi Bob & Nicole,

Having relocated to Fredrick myself from outside of the US there were lots of questions about the area that I really wanted to get answered before we moved. There are such varied options in and around Frederick itself, some having shopping right on the doorstep and others requiring you to drive, so you can tailor your search to suit your exact requirements. This however can be a little daunting when you know nothing about the area.

As I have moved both internationally and locally many times I understand the process personally and would be more than happy to share my experience and assist you further should you need it.

I am not sure whether you are American and living out of the county or someone planning to relocate from another country. If it is the latter, it is worth noting that if you are planning to buy a home, or even to rent, that working with a real estate agent in the USA differs greatly from other countries and it is certainly worth getting more information from someone who understands the differences.

Feel free to contact me at (301) 865-9675 or on liz.burrow@comcast.net if I can help.

Regards

Liz

Good Morning Bob & Nicole:

I see that you are living outside the US. If you stay in the Frederick Zip Codes (21701, 21702, 21703, 21704) you will be close to stores pretty much everywhere. There are certain towns in Frederick County that have shopping in the communities/towns such as Urbana and Spring Ridge. Your other towns have shopping but not as close by but one central location. Below is a link to show you the counties in Frederick. I hope this helps. Please e-mail me at pattys@longandfoster for more information.
