If you are like me and don't like going to malls, anything you would normally find in a mall can also be found in the assorted shops of Belmont Shore on 2nd street. Downtown Long Beach has a great mix of vintage shops, galleries and interesting novelty shops along with a Z Gallery (a personal favorite of mine) Walmart and a new outdoor mall. The Marina Pacific Shopping Center and The Marketplace on PCH and 2nd Street have wonderful boutiques, restaurants, movie theaters. We are a short drive to South Coast Plaza, one of the finest shopping centers in Southern California. Or a short drive inland to discount outlet stores. Everything you need is right here.

Long Beach is a wonderful diverse city with many different stores to offer. If you are in the area of Naples and Belmont Shore, then you will want to cruise on 2nd St and the nearby Marina so you can visit places like Tantulum or BJ's. Long Beach is proud to host 2 Trader Joe locations from nearby Naples area to one in Bixby Knolls. There is a wonderful farmers market near the Naples location as well. Long Beach has a wide variety of restaurants from the large chains like El Torito, to wonderful niche restaurants like Christy's in Belmont Heights. If you are up in the Bixby Knolls area you may want to visit 4 Olives which has a wonderful lunch and dinner menu.
