Most units are ABANDONED as a result of the recent changes. Renting them is a no-no so they're eerily empty; wanna bet they aren't haunted? The board president JG thinks he's a genius for inventing this. The other unit's are up for foreclosure. You get the picture.

The management thinks they own you, will go into your unit anytime you're out and shut your heat down for good. No telling how but the fact remains. Nothing you can do and the management knows this well.

Street parking is a nightmare, and garage parking is available at a whopping $1,000 a year - who can afford that?? Whoever's collecting the one grand, is tax-free.

The place is a mess. Still want to move it? Do at your own risk.

I think you should invest in a home in Cleveland Heights or Shaker Heights. Only the areas along the Cleveland border have crime, but there are lots of police around this area, much more than in a neighborhood in downtown Cleveland. The Southern part of Cleveland Heights is very nice, and there are many places to eat around Coventry Rd, and Lee Rd. Shaker Heights is very safe, and has a very good police force, as well as Cleveland Heights. The schools are very diverse and are very good. Shaker Heights is more residential, and some parts are much newer, especially towards Beachwood. Overall, both suburbs are a good to live in, and are very close to places to eat, and shop. There are many places nearby like Beachwood Place Mall, and Legacy Village, at Richmond and Cedar Road. There are is also shopping centers at Cedar and Warrensville Center, where there are chain food places, Macy's, Target, Whole Foods, and other shops. Hi Miriam, your question isn't very clear for if you're looking for an area to walk or are you looking for people to walk with? I would suggest joining a gym or YMCA. Get to know people then meet up for walking etc, it'd be much safer. Obviously you can perform generic internet searches and find anything you need trails and people online. I lived in CH for two years, and currently now live in Shaker, Both neighborhoods are safe and great to live in. I can say that I spend more time enjoying the outdoors and restaurants in shaker, however I liked the shopping in the CH area better. My daughter loves both areas, and they are very similar. In CH I had a break in dealing with a car. I personally feel you will be happier in Shaker, due to the closeness to downtown Cleveland, YOu cant go wrong with either area. ... more
