It depends on the location of the 50 acres and the foreseeable highest and best use for the land. Is it pasture land? Fenced? Commercial land? Utilities available? These factors all impact the lease value. ... more

There seems to always be "more to the story." But it is commonly understood that "verbal offers" are not viewed with any legal substance.

It's always wise to seek professional advice when faced with possible legal action. We recommend contacting a real estate attorney for their input.

Good luck,

Well, I hope you're not going by Zillow on an important decision like listing your home! Every home is unique and that is why banks still send out appraisers on loans! You need to have several market analysis's done by different agents and get their opinions and also see who you feel comfortable to work with. An agent can give you a lot of tips to make your home stand out in the crowd! Sebastopol area is always an area that has kept it values high. A few random forclosures in the area should not drag your home's value down in this market! Talk to some professionals, Best, Terry Bell, CPS RE, Santa Rosa 707-292-5712 ... more

Can it? Yes. But my question to you would be, "why would you want to? " "What are you hoping to accomplish by such a tactic" A friend of my mother's did just such a thing once, because she loved her home so much but preferred another park. She never stopped regretting that she did so. It just did not go back together as securely as before. Also, if you are planning to move it to another park you should check first to make sure that they will accept it. ... more

Hi Angela,
For your 95472 zip code or anywhere in Sonoma County, the auctions are held at the County Administration Building at 575 Administration drive in Santa Rosa every weekday starting at 11:30 AM. There are a group of regular bidders who are there every day and another group of regular sellers who each represent some of the companies handling the foreclosure process. The article linked below gives you some of the flavor of the auction process. ... more

Hi Babs,
Freestone is a "rural area" so in that regard it is further out and a bit isolated, but the people are friendly and would be willing to help, if you needed anything. If you wanted the rural feel, but didn't want to be quite so far out, I would recommend you look in Sebastopol, about 10 minutes east. We have a cute small town, all the necessary stores here, and malls only 15 minutes away in the "Big City" of Santa Rosa!
I moved here 23 years ago from Santa Clara and love the beauty of Sonoma County: only minutes to the coast and yet in the heart of wine country! What more could you ask for? I'd be happy to show you around if you have some free time for a visit.
Best Wishes,
