There is no record of it in the MLS, no active, sold or pending sale. There is only a closed Condo that sold for $45,000 on Webster....
Where are you obtaining your information? I purged the tax records and there is only 1 Pre-Foreclosure on Webster and the deficient amount is higher than $50,000....
I can send you an updated list of all available properties if you so desire, please click on my profile and use the contact me link.....

Seaside Heights and Ortley Beach are 2 separate towns that just happen to share the same zip code. While Seaside Heights generally attracts a younger, party-going crowd, Ortley Beach is very family and retirement friendly, which is why you will see a difference in property values between the 2 towns. Hope this is helpful! ... more

I have a small unit for sale. 2 bedroom. Seaside could be great for families, or not so great. But I don't agree that Franklin Ave is a very good spot.
My area, in the Extreme North End is quieter and nicer than all of Seaside, and, is a great place for families.
If you and your wife like to go out, you can walk to almost anywhere, including couple nice clubs on boardwalk, where they are having some pretty good bands too!
Many places are selling quite lower than you would expect, and I generally check all the sites daily.
So I see the price differences. It would be the best time to buy.
Hope you find what you are looking for, and it's true that Seaside Park is nicer, but it's much more expensive, and you have to go a few blocks into the Park to see the difference, and that far in, you probably couldn't afford.
Let me know if you'd like to see my place. Be glad to show you.
Dee

Yes as Bruce said, the town is known for its rowdier Summer time festivities but that is also what makes it a great seashore escape. I live about 20 minutes from there, having moved down here to be near family many yrs ago in Lavallette (right next to Seaside). You also have to remember that the crowd that comes to Seaside typically do not live here, they are mainly outsiders & teenagers/to 20 something yr olds coming to experience that great Summer we've all done back in the day. I also have friends that live there with 3 children just blocks to the boardwalk & they love it! You or your wife can call me with any questions, I would be happy to assist you with maiking your decision! Good Luck ~ Helen

Hello & I do have some rentals, will this be for the wedding party, family or the bachelors/bachelourettes, please keep in mind that landlords will want to know what the home will be used for & may not want a PARTY scene not to discourage you but as the agent from Texas mentioned that Hotels usually do this type of renting. On the other hand if you are looking for some long relaxing days on the beach with nites spent on the boardwalk or nearby eateries, please do not hesitate to contact me & I would be more than happy to get some Rental Listings sent to you ASAP!
In the meantime BEST WISHES to the Bride & Groom and I look forward to assisting you !

The show attracts precisely the kind of vacationer Seaside Heights has worked so hard to minimize. Seaside Heights was once a great vacation destination for the average american family and groups of middle income vacationers. While it has always had to manage an 'element' of out of control groups who frequent the shore to abuse people, alcohol and anything else that crosses their path, this show is a magnate for precisely the kind vacationer Seaside Heights does not want to emphasize or attract.

The show may bring in thousands of cast, crew and spectators for rentals, dining and entertainment, in the long run it will do more harm than good. The time is ripe for Seaside Heights to attract vacationers with modest budgets and a desire for good, clean fun in the sun. With tight budgets, most people have had to cut back on scale and length of their vacation time (if they are lucky enough to be able to even take one). That leave the Jersey Shore a perfect place to plan a vacation to, as it is close, affordable and offers so much to so many.

What the heck are the powers that be thinking? Who's looking after the big picture for the residents and business people of Seaside Heights?

Happy,
Don`t trust what builders tell you about zoning/building issues. Go to the township (I believe Toms River has the info) and ask someone there for the correct answer to your questions. ... more
