The price depends on if you are looking at single family homes or condominiums. The smaller the home, they higher the price/ sqft will typically be. If the home is remodeled, it will obviously have a higher price/ sqft than a home that is in need of updating. There are also many other factors to be considered when comparing price/ sqft. If the home has a garage or a pool, it will effect the overall price/ sqft.

Are you considering purchasing or selling?

Heidi,

Cochise Elementary is outstanding. I'm a bit biased as I have 2 kids that go there, but the curriculum & education is excellent, The teachers are outstanding and there is a real sense of community with this school. They have open enrollment, so you do not have to live within the boundaries.

If I can answer any other questions about this school, please let me know.

Best regards & Good luck!

Paul, I am in Scottsdale AZ and we have seen a nice recovery. We are dealing with some inventory shortages specially in homes $300-$600K. There is still ample inventory in the luxury market, but we have seen a nice uptick in sales in that $750-1.2M range. the fed not changing it's stance should help as keeping rates low is helping some buyers get into a more expensive home.

Why would you put 10 properties in one listing?
Are you trying to due a bulk sale? If yes, are you willing to leave behind some equity?
What are the property values?

I know, I know more questions and not many answers.

To get an idea of the values as-is you have some options:

1. got to Real Estate Values.us
2. contact local real estate agent
3. hire an appraiser

As an real estate investor, we are always looking to purchase bulk properties but we would need more information.

scott farmer answered:
The city of Scottsdale holds a unique history. It began near Scottsdale road and 1st street with Motorola being one of its first major employers. This gave rise to small bungalow type housing for workers. Many of the surrounding homes are one level and built with the suns heat in mind (ie. screened in porches called Arizona rooms).

As time passed, the city grew North. As it grew North more deed restrictions were placed on homes, such as the NOAS (natural area open space) restriction. This allowed for lots to be more natural and homeowners were restricted on use. Combining this with the proximity to the mountains, the preserve, and the lot sizes... home builders charged more for the homes. This meant more custom homes as you travel North. Stucco began to be very popular style.

With all that said, Scottsale holds a very diverse housing style. The city started in the South and grew North as it annexed more and more land from the county. There truly is a style for everyone AND a situation for everyone (i.e. no HOA, or strong HOA's).

We see property every day. A strong agent can direct you right to the areas that have the style you are looking for... just give us your description.

You are 15 min. from Kierland Commons and The Quarter (Scottsdale Rd. & Greenway Pkwy) and about 5 to 8 min. from DC Ranch Market Place (restaurants, grocery store, dry cleaner, boutiques, etc), Grayhawk Golf Courses and more accommodations and restaurants within 1 mile radius.

Please do not hesitate to call or email me with any other questions or concerns you may have.

Enjoy your evening, Carmelle
