You can check or call the local police department for information on the area. Also, if there was crime involving a home you are buying and an insurance claim was paid or filed, that will show up during the disclosure of the purchase. ... more

Each city tracks these statistics. As agents, we must lead you to the source (ie. the police web site). In Scottsdale, for example, the site is:

Google "(city name) crime statistics."

Here you can see plenty of information on crime linked to a map of the city. You can then locate any home you are interested in and see the crime activity (if any).
