This house is not for sale. Realtors are not allowed to disclose crime statistics, etc. but you can click on the "Local Info" tab at the top of the Trulia site and it will give you access to crime maps and statistics.

presently (July 2014) the schools for the neighborhood are:
Elementary School: Rama Road Elementary School
Middle School: McClintock Middle School
High School: East Mecklenburg High

Regarding the crime rate
Understand that I have never trust stats on crime as the definitions of offenses and groupings of crimes are highly subjective to the statistician. Here is one link to show crime in Stonehaven: http://spotcrime.com/nc/charlotte/stonehaven

I do live in this neighborhood with my family, but as a Realtor, I cannot comment further.

The house at 6120 Coltswood Court in Charlotte is currently zoned for mcclintock middle school and East mecklenburg High School. A great website to find out about the schools for a house is http://maps.co.mecklenburg.nc.us/geoportal/ You put in the address and you can click on the side bar and get various information about the schools, public trnasportation and other services that are offered in the area and the proximity to the house.

In regards to crime rates and illegal activities there are really only two ways to go about learning about it. One is to ask the neighbors about the neighborhood or the local police there thoughts on it. however; like Realtors (who cannot get itno that information becuase of Fair housing laws) it si all subjective to what one person views as bad may not be for another person.

however; the charlotte police departmetn have a great page that shows you the crime in the area and as far out as you want and the types and frequency of occurences. this will help you decipher if the neighborhood is suitable for you and your family. Their website is:
http://charmeck.org/city/charlotte/cmpd/Pages/default.aspx click on the link on the top for your safety and then crime mapping and put in the address...

I hope this information helps you out in your search and let's you make a descison that is best for you and your family.

Your best bets would be to check the CMPD website, and greatschool.org. You can go to the Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools website to check the school assignments, Or you can go to my website put in the property address and it will have most of this information. I will post the link below.
