Yes, Park Ridge is a Great Place to raise a family. The school district is one of the best in the State. The newer redone downtown area is just beautiful.

It depends on what you are looking for in a city/town. We think Park Ridge is a TERRIFIC community & most of the people we know think the same. Award winning schools, a lot of community involvement, outstanding Park District. Let us know more specific details of what you think a "good place to raise a family" is and we can better answer your question.

Hi,

Yes, Park Ridge is a great place to raise a child. Our Park Districs has activities throughout the year for all ages and they even have a great pre-school program. Here's a link to their website; http://www.prparks.org/. Our schools consistently win academic and athletic awards and are rated in the top 5 to 10 percent of all schools. Each of the districts, 64 & 207 have individual education plans available for learning disabled children and have accellerated classes for the intellectual student. Here's a link to the report cards for all of the grade schools and the high schools; iirc.niu.edu/ Here's a link to the city's website which will give you more information on the communitiy and its services to the residents; http://www.parkridge.us

Feel free to email, text or call me for more information.

Tracy, excellent place to raise children. Schools are top-notch and many park district locations and activities. Transportation is very convenient. Have lived here for over 15 years and still find it great; we came from the city. The downtown Park Ridge area is also wonderful with shops, restaurants, Pickwick movie theatre, great library, and so much more. Call or email if you need help finding a place.
