Dominique,
I not only work in Wallingford, but I live here. I have wo children that have grown up in this school district and have been a part of the athletic association for different sports teams. As stated below, we have a lot to offer in our neighborhood with the swim clubs, school activities and sports. My boys have also been involved in a great scouts program and have become involved in the fire company. The only "down fall" to the area I have to say is that unlike Media or Swarthmore, we have no downtown area shops that are in walking distance. Good luck, and don't hesitate to direct any questions to me, I'd be happy to help. We love the area.

Ditto to what everyone has said. I do a lot of work in the area and everyone I've worked with who purchases there seem to be happy campers. It is well located, being just a short distance from Media and it offers easy access to the Blue route and I-95 as well. The school district is excellent. Good luck with your search.

Hello Dominique:

Wallingford has NPAA, a private organization for soccer and baseball for girls and boys from 4 to teens with local and travelling teams for soccer. There are 2 swim clubs in Wallingford that have summer swim teams and compete in local leagues. Strathaven high school has all the usual sports and has often been state champions in football and soccer.

As a twenty-eight year resident I can recommend it as a great place to raise kids. It was also named in in the top ten in Money magazine "Best Places to Live" in 2007. http://money.cnn.com/magazines/moneymag/bplive/2007/snapshot…

Feel free to call me anytime. I'll be happy to set up an personalized search for your new home in Wallingford.

Hello Dominique,

Wallingford is a very lucky little neighborhood. If there isn't anything available in Wallingford, they are right next to Media. Media is the county seat, if you don't already know, and they have plenty of little league sports. If you are interested in younger children I personally know that Ridley Township which is only 5-10 minutes away has organized sports for children as young as 4. If you would like to discuss this any further, please contact me, I'll be glad to help you.
