I would suggest researching your questions on GreatSchools.com.

As for data about the two school systems, Ashley, you can use this page, http://mcds.dese.mo.gov/advancedinquiry/State%20Assessment/S… at the state department of education's website. To be honest it is not the easiest to manipulate, but it does give you the ability to select both school districts and make comparisons of their recent test scores. You need to get rid of "state" in the "agencies" section, click on the plus sign to open "public school," and then click on the boxes for both Pleasant Hill and Fort Osage. I know: Not very easy.

Good luck with your search, and I hope that I was helpful!

Yes, there are Nursing classes in Harrisonville (13 miles south of Belton), Longview for pre-req of KC Penn Valley. Child care classes may be available at the community center or Belton Research Hospital.

Schools are fantastic. Just built a grade A Sports Stadium at the high school.

Low crime rate

PHill is nice, but a little remote for all of the above. Belton, is right at the Jackson County line, so 20 minutes to the Plaza, hospitals, entertainment.
