Hi
Mark said it just right,
By law, agents are not allowed to recommend schools, neighborhoods, what areas are "safe" or not, etc. but you have the right to do your own research on both area. I have lived in San Diego and raised all my kids here they are out of college and very successful. The area's you are talking about is great place to raise your family. Love to help you, call me or email me for more questions.

Both areas have great school districts for the most part. But having grown up and lived in the OC area during my young years and having always had a burning desire to live in SD and finally moving here in '80 I can tell you first hand that for the past 33 years there's not a better place in the World to live than America's Finest County!

Call or email us anytime if you'd like a real professional real estate brokerage to introduce you to our fine County:

Hi Jalealem,

Below I have attached a link to an article that outlines a game plan on researching school districts.
http://www.sheknows.com/living/articles/815695/how-to-find-t…

The internet has some great resources you and your sister can use to compare San Diego versus Irvine schools
http://www.greatschools.org/
http://www.schoolfinder.ca.gov.

Also school digger will give you rankings of school districts
http://www.schooldigger.com

I hope this information helps your family.

Yes, I concur with Mark and Kari. That is a subjective question! :)

Thanks!

Hi,

By law, agents are not allowed to recommend schools, neighborhoods, what areas are "safe" or not, etc. Here is a popular web site we have used to check out schools for our own family.

http://www.greatschools.org

It is a fair rating system and explains many of the metrics.

If you have other questions, feel free to ask and we will answer what we can.

Best of luck,
