Welcome to Texas....
Most consider Frisco ISD schools excellent.
My advice is not to focus on one school.....and here's the reason.
There may be different price ranges of homes you want to consider.
So if I tell you X school is the best, but in that area all homes are $1mil plus and you want to spend $200K, then that doesn't really help you.
The other consideration is that Frisco is growing really fast and schools zoning can and does change. So you may buy a house in X school zone, only to have the zoning change the next year due to growth or population changes only to have your student change schools the next year. One of my clients had their child in 3 different elementary schools, but in the same house.
While that is challenging ....the kids work through it and with most of the schools being excellent, it's not like you trade one great school for a terrible one.
I often advise parents that one word does not make a school. I just saw one client change their child from one school to another with both being thought of as excellent. A change in teachers and administrators and attitude made all the difference with this child. Great turn around story. I'm not convinced one school was better than another, it was just the environment for that child.
So a school one parent may think of as excellent for their child could be a nightmare for yours or the other way around. Each child has different needs.
My advice is focus on the house...find a good one...and then interview the school to see if you think your child will do well there. Go talk to the admins....the teachers....some parents.
