According to the Mullen High School web site:
Tuition for the 2008-09 school year is $8650 with a $400 registration fee due after the student has been accepted. The final numbers for the 2009-10 academic year have not been determined. There is no application fee providing all deadlines are met.
With the exception of certain disposable items (workbooks, etc.) textbooks are provided. There is no textbook fee. All freshman students are required to participate in our freshman retreat program. The cost of the overnight retreat for the 2008-09 year is $100.
There is a tuition Assistance fund although it is currently over allocated: The Brother Bernard Kinneavy Tuition Assistance Fund, established in 1999, addresses the financial needs of certain Mullen families in the best tradition of St. John Baptist de La Salle. Tuition assistance is based on financial need only, and is determined through an independent service agency. The amount currently allocated for tuition assistance does not meet the total needs or requests for aid from our families, which necessitated the establishment of this Fund. The MHS Board of Directors intent is for the fund to grow perpetually and provide a base of interest income for years to come.
Mullen is well known and respected as one of the premier Catholic Private Schools in the area.
On a side note: one of the greatest high school sports rivalries is that between Mullen and Cherry Creek High's respective football squads. Dave Logan, a former Bronco coaches Mullen and the Hall of Famer John Elway coached his son at quarterback for the Cherry Creek Squad!
