Need daycare for my 18 month old and preschool for my 4 year old

Asked by Tracey, 34787 Fri Aug 3, 2007

We'll be living in Oakland FL, near Winter Garden. I am checking out Foundation Academy for my 4 year old but since the schedule seems more in tune with stay at home parents. I will need to find a situation where I can drop her off at 7:30AM on some days and pick up as late as 6PM some days.
I did not want a typical daycare center.
We're lucky to have a small setting in our current area of Northern KY in which our 4 year old has experienced. WE want that same experience for our 18 month old.
Any guidance appreciated. Religious is ok.

Looks like this was posted a while back but I wanted everyone to know we found Cranium Clubhouse. WOW! We had toured all the local preschools and nothing came close to this. The educational platform they use is unreal. They shared with us results from the last few years and every child that graduated from their facility was at a mid Kindergarden or higher level. They have over a dozen kids in several different gifted programs at the local elmentary schools.

There is a new preschool that is either opened or is opening in Winter Garden Florida called Cranium Clubhouse. It looks really different.

Tracey, we take our 2 year old to Kids R kids in Cleremont off Citrus Tower. The faculty there really does the best job around. Check them out, you won't be dissapointed.

I don't reside in the Florida region but I did some research online for some reputable, reliable child daycare centers and here are the organizations I came up with; but you'll have to give them a call and find out what their hours are to see if they match with your needs. You could also look into daily postings on Craigslist for the Orlando region that may come up with some findings? Some of the following links are sites that help you match up with daycare centers as well. Hope this helps!
