As a native Cincinnatian, let me just say politely, North College Hill is not known for having good schools. Much better choices in other parts of the metro area

The Ohio Department of Education rates schools annually. These ratings can be found at this link http://ilrc.ode.state.oh.us/Downloads.asp.

My experience with clients has been that the more involved the parent(s) the more the child gets out of whatever shool they attend. There are, of course, some schools that do routinely excell in there performance and the ratings will show this. Regardless, of the ratings, it is essential that you visit the school and talk with both administrators and teachers in addition to view the school.

Best wishes on arriving at your decision.

The best way to find out if a school is going to be a good fit for you, is to schedule a visit with that school. I recommend calling the school and scheduling an appointment to talk with the principle. There are also many resources available to help you research schools.
