This unincorporated area of Los Angeles is referred to as Ladera Heights. This is a lovely community that demonstrates pride of homeownership, and the residents typically middleclass/upper-middle class earnings. Ladera Heights is a wonderfully affluent community. Culver City lies to its west, the unincorporated area of Baldwin Hills to its north, and the Westchester neighborhood of Los Angeles to its south and southwest. Having lived in this area for sometime, I can say that it's a great community for families. The residents tend to be older and very successful business people. Many people can appreciate the stunning views of the Pacific Ocean , as well as its proximity to beaches, Hollywood, LAX and the San Diego Freeway. This area also features large ranch-style homes.

Hi, Tierha:

I would suggest you do a little research by going to and see how the schools in that area are rated. Also, do a Yahoo or Google search for the Meagan's Law database and see how many sex offenders are in that area.

I would drive around the community at different times of the day and night to see if it suits your needs.

Best to you,
