Hi Ankita, welcome to Fremont!

Although you have only asked about a particular area, I assume you would want to know all of your options are as far as relocating to a 3-bed condo in Fremont. Hence, here is an up-to-date link to all of the currently active 3 bed condos in Fremont:

Hi Ankita, Cherry lane is a very wonderful area to live very quiet and close to everything. Vallejo Mill Ele. does not have good scores. They are a school with a lot of Spanish speaking children going there so they have some problems with the scores, but all Fremont schools have the same curriculum as if your child applies themselves they will do well ....That area goes to Washington High which is a great high school so What you could look into, and what I do, (I live in Fremont) is send your child or children to Sunol Glen Elementary which goes to 8th grade and has the same scores as the mission schools. Sunol has the wonderful advantage of being a public which is small 230 students from K-8 So you get the private school feel without the huge tuition. You should check for availability if your child or children are in 1st through 8th. as they are a bit full right now but do have a waiting list. If your Child/children are just going into kindergarten you have a much better chance of getting in, as long as you get them on the list soon.... Hope this helps Dawn

Dear Ankita,

it's easy to find out about how the kids scored on standardized test online (http://sunilsethi.com/schools.htm) and to confirm there is space available in the school currently for your child by calling (510) 979-7700. However, don't rely just on the numbers alone to find out how the school is.

I highly recommend, while you are looking at properties in the neighborhood, you talk to the neighbors and ask them what they like about the school, what they don't, also ask them about the neighborhood (crime, noises, how long they've been there, nuisance neighbors, etc.).

I always have my buyers talk to the neighbors, since just like it's difficult to change the layout of a home, it's also difficult to change a lousy neighbor or school.

Good luck on your hunt! If you are still interviewing for a Buyer Agent, please feel free to contact me for a consultation.
