Most public schoos in Marin are excellent, Corte Madera being no exception. It does little good to rank "best" by test scores. Look for parent involvement, a good school foundation and talk to some of the parents. I have kids in each of the public schools -- Neil Cummins, Hall and Redwood -- and we have been extremely happy with all three. Many parents in Marin also opt for private schools and that's a great option as well. The great thing about Marin is you have a lot of choices and you can really find the school that's right for your child's individual needs.

Some of the best in the county. Public schools have kids going to Neil Cummings for K-5, the Henry Hall for middle School, finishing with Redwood High, the best high school in the county. Also, the county's best K-8 private school is in Corte Madera, Marin Country Day.
