Hi Carolyn,

I would check New 9's Crime Tracker and maybe talk to the neighbors. I'm sure they'd be glad to tell you about it. tracker

Always check the police and sheriff departments web sites for the most reliable info. I have listed and sold houses in the area. Drive around at different times of the day and see if you would be comfortable driving home if you lived there. If not, find another house.

Good afternoon. I wanted to respond to a recent message you posted on Trulia. It was in regards to how safe the neighborhood around the address; SW 61st Terrace and if it would be safe for a woman living alone.

Well, that really depends on a number of factors of which would include the awarenss, how prepared and the willingness of the individual to protect themselves. That being said; I've pulled some recent crime statistics off of our News9OK crime tracker. This particular link monitors recent activity as reported by the Oklahoma Police Department.

The statistics are stating that there seems to be somewhat of a high rate of activity primarily in the categories of, Burglary and Robbery. If you copy the line below and insert within your browser, it will pull of the statistics.

I hope this information is helpful in your attempt to learn more about future living accomadations.
