I have lived in Harford County for over 20 years. I wouldn't live anywhere else. I have raised my four children here. We have been invloved in scouts, gymnastics, cheerleading, soccer, baseball and lacross and volunteer work. This is the kind of town where you can't go to a store without seeing four people that you know. The restaurants and schools and social activities are wonderful. If you need an agent who can "show you around" the area please give me a call at 443-417-6493.

Here is the link to the schools of the Harford County school system, http://www.hcps.org/schools/Default.aspx, so that you can dig more deeply into specific schools, and here is the link to Harford's site at the state department of education's website, http://msp.msde.state.md.us/Entity.aspx?K=12AAAA, again to look more carefully at the district and individual school buildings.

The link below is to my blog. I try to provide to parents and other readers of it really good and hopefully actionable information about schools and school districts. Good luck with your move and search!

Hello, I have lived in both Baltimore and Harford County. Harford county is a great place to raise a family and home prices are a better value than in neighboring counties. Harford County also offers many family friendly amenities including great schools, parks, restaurants, and sports facilities including an indoor ice rink. You can choose between rural settings and more surburban neighborhoods that have newer homes. You will certainly find what you are looking for in beautiful Harford County!!

As a Real Estate Agent who moved to the Harford County area 4 1/2 years ago myself, I couldn't be happier. Harford County is a fantastic place live & raise a family and with and it's proximity to everything - Baltimore, DC, Philly, NY, the beach - it has it all. A good place to go for school information is http://www.hcps.org - this is the Harford County Public School website and will give you vital info & test scores on each school. You can also find a link to this website through my website at LaurenZurilla.com

Hi Shak,

I was just out there this weekend for the County fair. What a great area! If you need assistance with your move you can call or e-mail anytime with questions. Realtors are limited on what we can say on schools due to fair housing laws but we can connect you with others in the community who can give you first hand info.
