Can anyone tell me why Village Elementary is only for grades 3-4? Which kids go there vs. Orchard Hill? Thanks!

There are two elementary schools. They could have had two similar schools, each with K-4. Or they can have what they have now, each for the entire township, but split the pupils.

Montgomery Township School District has one Elementary, one Middle and on High School. Elementary is split K-2 in Orchard Hill, 3-4 in Village Elementary. Similarly, 5-6 is at Lower Middle School (LMS) and 7-8 is at Upper Middle School (UMS) and then the High School.

The highly rated Montgomery Township School System is comprised of:
Orchard Hill K-2
Village Elementary 3-4

All Montgomery Township students attend Orchard Hill for K-2 (and pre-K if you choose).
All Montgomery students then attend Village Elementary for grades 3&4.
All Montgomery students then attend Lower Middle School for grades 5&6 and the Upper Middle School for grades 7&8. All Montgomery students then attend the High School for grades 9-12.
This is the way they have set it up in our town. We have excellent schools with stellar teachers.
