You should be speaking and working with a local Buyer Broker. Trulia isn't in real estate, they are an advertising website. They know nothing about any of the proeprties they advertise and even less about real estate though they like to pretend otherwise. Do yourself a huge favor and rather than spend time on sites like this where the information is fairly innaccurate, spend some time finding an experienced, local buyer broker to work with, It shouldn't cost you anything and will definitely save you time, energy and likely money.

I am not sure what they look at when they rate a neighborhood 2 or 5 stars but from personal experience, I think 4 or 5 is more accurate. It's a desirable neighborhood because its quiet, great school distric, safe and near the beach. Major shopping and nightlife are only 20 minutes away.... more
