I am looking for a rental in North Port Florida. We have been renting for the past 2 years in North Port. we would like to rent from Nov 27 to May 1, 2017. We have been paying 1600 a month but we cannot afford that high a price any more. When we rent she doesn't even need anyone to come in and clean, I had a cleaning business and I know how to take care of a house. Her house need several repairs and it seemed that we were always waiting for repair men. She never lived in the house, it was her mothers. The mother was elderly and didn't do anything to improve the home, not even paint. We will keep your house nice and clean. Carol from Michigan ... more

Rentals are very hard to find. Your best bet is to contact several rental property management companies and get your name put on their list. Rentals are a little different than normal residential sales where you would only work with one agent. You can also look for rentals by owner on web sites, newspaper, etc. ... more

This type of question always gets me, people with bad credit need to get their debt down,
STOP spending as in credit cards and don't take a vacation for a yr or two. There are
people in my own family that don't have two nickles to rub together and they will be damned
to "Not" go on a vacation. Instead, they go spend 3K every yr and get further in debt, although
hey maybe they have the right idea. My husband and I reused our sandwhich bags, did not
spend a dime and worked 3 jobs within 3 yrs we had 25K saved for a home this was back
in 1984; all I'm getting at is "you have to give up things, go without and get your damn act together
THEN you can begin to look expensive areas for vacation homes. Sarasota area is NOT for
those who have bad credit. Try Orange Beach up in Alabama, great place and cheap taxes
and great places to get a vacation place.
