There are no Gulf access ramps...You have to put your boat in in the bay and go through the pass to get to the Gulf. There are passes in Destin and Panama City. Hope this helps.

Gerald, There is activities all up and down 30A. There is walking, biking, swimming, YOLO Boarding walk to the ice cream shop in Blue Mountain , in that middle corridor of 30A all sorts of things and yes for Seniors . There are activities regularly on the Greens in Seaside and The Boathouse has movies in Watercolor and or performances in Rosemary. Dont know if you like to fish but we have the rarest Coastal Dune Lakes (where the salt water and fresh water meet) out of 5 in the world, we have 3 of them. There are butterfly clubs, bird clubs, there is the Gardening Group and those of us that just grow our own veggies and pass them back and forth. YOu will find plenty to do here, everyone does!! This area for schools is superb. You have a variety of schools to choose from, public or private. The area is probably one of the few like it, since it was laid out with ease of proximity in mind. Many kids here walk or ride their bike to the schools they attend. There is basically no crime. We have a 2 week old and are very much looking forward to her attending school in Santa Rosa Beach. You can find public schools in Walton County which top many private schools in other areas of the country. ... more
