County Sheriff and fire departments are located in Rio Rio off exit 22 and 17. There is as much or more police protection than in larger cities. The nearest hospital is about 10 miles away in Nogales, Az. There are many good doctors in the area and if there are special needs Tucson is about a half hour away on 1-19. One important reason is that owners fail to file an appeal to the annual mailing announcing the value and tax implications each February. The deadline is normally at the end of April so if you can, be sure to make an appeal many of which result in a reduction in the valuation.

differnt counties and states have different ways to measure sq. footage, rarely, anymore, does an agent measure for sq. footage because it can be so litigous. and ther are differnt accepted ways of measuring sq footage. the architect generally is measuring the perimeter of the home and on the other hand a appraiser has a whole different set of rules, that usually does not include any nonliving space, and are usually dictated by which kind of loan the purchaser is getting, ask a trustworhty agent in your area ... more

In our MLS we have the option to input the heated/cooling sq ft and also the garage sq ft but they are separate fields which I think is a nice feature so the buyer has all the information on the property. But it is up to the Realtor to input both fields in and the heating/cooling field is required and not garage. ... more
