Judy,

I did some research & could find little if anything.

What I did find was the publishers of this site, "Growing Up in Santa Cruz" and on this page

http://www.growing-up.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&id=2&Itemid=4#

they had a couple categories you might find of interest; "Teens" and "After School Enrichment"

One thing is likely if anyone either has the answer to your question or would know who does, it's these folks!

Please keep me posted on how it goes and what you learn!

Always hire the best & encourage those you know when Buying or Selling to do the same. Why not?

CallKathyHall, I think this addresses your comment: "Rent controlled park near beaches". Additionally, are you sure it is a PUD and not a condo conversion or sub division?

Margaret Popken answered:
In September most of the rental inventory gets taken by UCSC Students and Cabrillo students so if you can find a home that is available in say July you may want to take it. Most property rentals are made in person so you may need to make a trip here with a good reference and application in hand and leave it with property managers so they can let you know what is available as soon as it comes on market.
Good luck. You will love Santa Cruz.
