To some buyers the bottom line is money and not the service or the knowledge that you bring to the table. Trust me, when there's a problem they expect you to put 100% to help them.

It is up to you to determine your business model. I think we all have experienced what your went through. Don't let it bother you and move forward.

I am living in an "unincorporated" area of San Jose so I can answer your question. Some of benefits: 1. You are in Santa Clara County Libraries serving area. You can borrow books from San Jose Public Libraries without any restriction but only unincorporated area of San Jose can borrow books form Santa Clara County Libraries without paying extra fee. 2. San Jose is short of police force but unincorporated area is manged by county sheriff which offers frequent patrolling.3. Less restrictions in permitting, for example, in San Jose, you need cost and efforts to remove a tree but no permit required in County pockets. 4. Faster service, I applied extending electricity to my storage shed, I got it inspection done quickly and friendly.

I am happy to live in a county pocket and not willing to be incorporated with San Jose.

Rachelle Cota answered:
Selling websites that link listing agents to home sellers are usually not region-specific. They take agents from across the country on-board and connect them with local sellers. Since you already work with another agency, it is beneficial to register at websites like agentspresent.com which charge minimal registration and no referral fees. ... more

answered:
Many people want the big shot guy to use as an agent. The best agents are usually people who only do a little business, but they give you attention and effort that the mega agents do not care about. So a teacher selling homes part time may be a better agent than the guy selling 20 houses a month. The teacher will really care about you, and fight for you to the end.
That is my opinion

This is a question for an estate attorney. Trusts get created in different manners and there may be tax or inheritance issues to crop up. This isn't a question for strangers on the Internet who haven't see the actual trust document. Speak to an attorney. ... more

Hi Dave,

You might ask the folks at your local association of Realtors. I found an accountant here in San Diego through my association.

Best of luck.

I am unsure how to do what you are doing. Why do you want to add the broker to the insurance? I am a little confused to why. I know that some policies will be a little stingy to who can be added to an account but other than that I don't know. http://www.village-insurance.com/services.html ... more

Brian Kurtz answered:
I am interested in this as well. I do plan on using both Google Display Network remarketing and Facebook remarketing, but I don't plan on using it until early next year.

My plan is to create a series of image ads for each and every blog post I create as well as image ads for every home I sell. Work the images so that they have my logo and/or face.

Put them into a remarketing campaign in Google, set it to only show in the areas I want to sell homes in, and set it to show only when click cost is low. I believe that the branding impact will be much better than anything you get from an actual click through. In fact, the click through factor would only be important in that you need to keep it high enough so that your ads are not put in a "do not display" status of some type.

The same concept can be used for the Facebook side of things. It all an be super-charged when using video as well.

John Arendsen answered:
I'd be more concerned about what type of training and experience you can get. Some brokers just let you hang your license with them, allow you the opportunity to pay for a desk and turn you out to pasture. But they will give you an 80/20 or even a 90/10 which is what I will give for agents who can walk on all fours and think outside the box. Others take you under their wing and smother you with information and knowledge but want at least a 50/50 split for the privilage. ... more

Joan Lorberbaum Moore answered:
My understanding of this is that it means a transfer of real property from one family member to another without selling the property.
That being said, you should verify this information with an attorney and with a title company if you are contemplating a purchase of a property with type of deed. A title search should definitely be made. ... more

I cant comment about this exact market.... However the upstate NY market is very stable right now and we are seeing the market strengthen over the last 6 months with no stop in sight....
It may be the new nano tech companies in the region or the increase in battery production as well... But things are looking good here and I cant wait till see the days of Mc Mansions being built here!
