Steve is right. Most Notice of Default properties are paid and the notice is removed. You can purchase access to daily updates but likely it will be wasted money. It is extremely difficult to locate steals that are NOT currently listed on the MLS. has a suite of books about foreclosures, try searching there for "foreclosures for dummies"(no sarcasm intended).
