Just passed my broker exam first try. I honestly think the two day crash course combined with common sense and critical thinking is what helped me pass. I studied about 300 test questions for about a week and realized none of them were on exam. It's best to know the material and concepts from the weekend crash course to help answer the questions. ... more

That sounds like a difficult setup. There are many web based solutions that would make your life much easier. I'm not sure if that is an option for you. My construction business uses ConstructionVault.com for our CRM... I don't think it would work for realtors, but there is probably a similar program for that niche. ... more

I've heard that there are some benefits to timber-constructed homes. It sounds like they use this same method in both the framing and in the flooring. I would first consult a timber expert to see if it would be a good option for the area you're planning on buying/building a home. They should be able to give you a straight answer on whether or not you should get a timber house and what the requirements are. http://www.simplyoregon.com.au ... more

I do too. I saw them last year at the Fillmore. It was a double bill: Timber Hollow Floors, with Douglas Fir Softwood opening for them. Great show, sponsored by PineSol.

Posted in 2007, but I'll respond.

Trulia is primarily focused on Real Estate Purchases. I'm a Mortgage Professional. I consistently receive notices from Trulia to increase my standing, I need to upload my listings. That's not my job.

The financing of property in escrow, is the main ingredient for Agents to earn a living. Trulia, doesn't understand that. After all, it's not sold, until it's funded.

Zillow has Forums for both mortgage professionals & agents. Trulia, does not. But, the level of the questions & responses on Trulia are much higher and far more professional. .... Happy funding, Rudi

As Jed pointed out, depending on one's Inet connection there can be loss in audio/video quality. You offer a nice product.

As mentioned, sure agents can handle the dozens of details that are involved in marketing a property but a better use of our time is delegating some of these tasks to the specialists so that we can be spending either more direct time with clients or developing new business. I rarely take my own photos but hire it out & I'd very likely hire out video.

You may be hearing from me for my next listing.

Yes, Trulia definitely can help you with that. But if you want your listing appear on this website, you need to post it on Zilllow. After that your ad will be syndicated to other sites, Trulia is among them. I know other rental platforms, for instance, Rentberry do pretty much the same thing. ... more

trulia launched rentals yesterday, so now you can just click the rental tab at the top and get amazing local data as well maps, and the largest inventory of any apartment website. Along with the rentals we have some great features like keyword search, amenity filters, as well as multiple location search - a great way to compare listings and pricepoints. As usual we have awesome map searches too. The listing pages also have info from Yelp about local restaurants, nightlife and more. It really is something to check out. ... more
