I spoke to a teacher friend of mine who has been teaching in San Diego County school district for over 15 years. She explained that most, if not all, schools should be equipped to handle and help educated children with ADD. No one school has more kids with ADD then another. I hope this helped a little, good luck and feel free to reach out with any real estate need you may have in the future.
I think the best way for you to find schools is to go to www.sandi.net. There is also a site of www.greatschools.org/california/sandiego.net which gives you parents ratings on schools. I think your best bet to Google San Diego Schools and you will get loads of information. I have also been a Substitute Teacher and there are also Charter Schools I believe at SDCOE.org!
I think this is the best place for you to look! Good Luck!
We live in the Poway Unified School District. Last we heard, enrollment at Mount Carmel is now low due to the addition of Westview High School in Rancho Penasquitos (now full) 11 years ago and Del Norte High School in Rancho Bernardo (close to full) 4 years ago. Call Mount Carmel to ask how to do the inter-district transfer. As Marcie stated, there is no guarantee.
Best of luck,

I have lived in the 92128/92129 zip codes for years and I can safely say that it would take a lot for me to move elsewhere. You are not only in one of the best school districts in the nation (Poway Unified), but you are in an incredibly safe neighborhood that is also very clean and quiet. I would recommend anyone to live in Sabre Springs, but try also looking in Carmel Mountain, Rancho Penasquitos and 4S Ranch. Good luck and contact me if you have questions about the loan process.
