Angela,

I would love the opportunity to talk to you about your move.
Some of the questions are:
Do you have children in school?
What type of area do you like (warmer, desert like, mountains, views)?
What do you like to do when you have time off? (HIke, go to the beach, ride horses)
Do you like living in the city or country or somewhere in between?
How large or small of a home do you want?
How much of your monthly income do you want to do toward housing.

With over 24 years servicing home buyers in the San Diego area I feel I can help you find what you want.

Thanks Mark and Kari!

I wasn't sure what they were asking for grant deed, deed of trust, etc.? And they may be the current owner.... we definitely need more info! :)

I also concur with you, I wouldn't just hand out the deed to a property (even if it is public record) without good cause! ... more

You can take all the guess work out of it by contacting:

http://www.intimatelivinginteriors.com/projects/feeleyresidence.html: Kari Arendsen. She's one of the top high end interior designers in California and is located in the Cedros Design center in Solona Beach. She's done many projects all thoughout the highend neighborhoods of San Deigo and has an un blemished reputation. Kari is just finishing a major remodel in La Jolla and would be more than happy to preview it for you.

You may also want to contact: www.chadofalltrades.com: Chad Arendsen is equally recognized as a highend general contractor and has works on kari's projects regularly. They are a great brother and sister team and both live and work in Solona Beach and cover all the high end neighborhoods.

Lastly, if you have not purchased a home yet please feel free to contact us at: 760 815-6977 or check out our very user friendly website below. We would love to help you locate your La Jolla home if you have not yet selected one or are not already committed to another broker/agent. Good luck and enjoy your La Jolla home.

Terri Griffis answered:
I recently made an offer on a foreclosure in Florida. It was a full price offer (at a great deal) and it was accepted. We now own a lovely beach vacation home. I have found that a full price offer usually wins your prize unless there is a bidding war. I suggest you find a Realtor who is experienced in dealing with foreclosures within the area you are interested. ... more

All previous answers are excellent. Please weigh all of this information. I would add that signonsandiego.com allows you to follow the prices of condos over the last 5 years on a monthly basis. The current market is definitely a buyers market and this condition is true for this submarket as well. In order to succeed as an investor you must be prepared to make a lot of offers at substantially reduced prices. If you are interested in current availability and pricing of rentals you might benefit from a periodic review of our website. We have managed properties in this area since 1972. ... more
