KB does offer a great home at one of the most competitive prices. I always recommend seeing the other builders that are out in that area to see what they offer. Some maybe higher priced but offer a higher quality build.

Also I would look to see how many homes have been built in that subdivision. You always want to find the subdivisions that are established and if possible near completely built. Being one of the first homes in an area does offer downfalls. Always driving through construction and competing with the builder when you are looking to move.

Mesa Creek seems to be well developed. Always recommend researching the local policy department website so you can see for sure. Remember to always do your research or ask the realtor you are working with for information in regards to the neighborhoods.

I grew up in 78217 depending on your budget there are several well established neighborhoods that are right around the area. It is a good location if you are going to need access to I35, Loop 1604 or Loop 410. There is a new housing development coming in off Higgins road and they have a shopping center coming in off 1604 and Bulverde road so the area will have more to offer within the coming months and years. It really depends what you are looking for San Antonio has a huge diversity of communities within the city and it really has something for everyone.

I was born and raised in San Antonio and will be more than happy to assist in any way I can, give me a call @ (210) 422-6293

Good afternoon, Bill. That is a project being built by Birnbaum Property Company. It is a little less than 14,000 sqft. According to the site plan on their website, it will include a Pet's Barn pet supplies store, a dentist, a spa, and a "Love to Swim and Tumble School". Not sure if there's any other leasing in place.

A link to the pdf on their website is below.

I personally prefer San Antonio to Dallas Metro, but to provide you with an opinion of what's best for you, I would need some insight on what particulars you are looking for in the city you reside as well as the community. I would recommend making a top ten list regarding the things most important to you in terms of family, recreation, cost of living and transportation. Post your list, and get opinions on what each area has to offer. ... more

I believe the Creekside neighborhood feeds into Warren High School. You can find more information about that school here: http://www.nisd.net/warren/

In the event you're looking for a private school for your son, you can take a look at Central Catholic (http://www.cchs-satx.org/), TMI (http://tmi-sa.com/), or Antonian (http://www.antonian.org/). There are a few others as well including St. Anthony and Holy Cross.

Best of luck in your home search! Please let me know if I can be of any assistance!

Regards,

Home owner is looking for quick sale and does not want to deal with typical realtor listings. As a transplant to the San Antonio area myself, I'd like to welcome you to a wonderful place to live. The folks here are friendly and there's always something to do with the family on weekends. However, I will be honest and let you know its still hard to find a really good NY pizza or sub (I grew up in NJ), but the bbq can't be beat!

In regards to places to live, I would think you should start with finding something close to where you work so you can have more time to spend with the family. There are good areas in many different parts of the city. If you want to buy, you will find that the prices are extraordinarily low. If you want the more urban feel there are loft style places to live downtown.

As far as schools are concerned, we are a "young" city and it seems that there is school almost within 8 blocks of wherever you might find houses.

Call or email me so I can help you make San Antonio feel like home even before you move here. I have a few videos about San Antonio on my website at www.MySanAntonioHome.net
