If you want your home sold by a pro, you'll need to sign an Exclusive Right to Sell Listing Agreement. Why would an agent waste their time marketing your listing, knowing that you're just going to cut him/her out of the deal and sell to someone else??You can have the contract be for a specific period, and if he/she can't get it sold, then you're free to go sell it yourself. ... more

If you want to live around protitutes and drug dealers. I've lived here for about six years, I bought my home in '09 during the housing crisis and this was the worst mistake I ever made, the people in this neighborhood are hopeless they let these whores walk all over the place and use the alley ways as a bathroom, condom wrappers everywhere, guys looking for prostitutes 24/7, the police can't do anything about it, I've contacted city officials, and the mayor. The one thing these realtors won't tell you is that, there all slum lords and could careless about this neighborhood. This is message is for all the landlords with some humanity left in them. please, families still live in this community, do a background check, and pay some attention to your property, you might have someone sign the lease with a good background but that doesn't mean that there boyfriend, family member or friend won't turn your home in to a dope spot. my sons seven and he doesn't know how to ride a bike, my next door neighbors and my family are like prisoners because we have sexual offenders and sickos running around looking for cheap women to sleep with. Other than that it's a pretty good area ... more

For instance, Total costs to a seller of a $70,000 condo NOT including broker's commission was $1,462. This was a cash purchase so the buyer paid $168.50 at closing. That said you still are not going to know what your costs will be. Some fees are determined by a percentage of the sale price. Buyers closing costs for financing can vary depending on the lender. For specifics to your house and your contract: Ask your Realtor for an estimated HUD Statement which will not only let you know what the costs are but the breakdown of the costs. There are many possible fees at closing. Avoid surprises and be sure to read the contract thoroughly. ... more

Waterside at Coquina Key is a nice complex. It is in an area that is still in transition but that is what makes it so desireable to so many. Coquina Key was once considered to be THE place to live and then they began developing downtown St Petersburg and the focus shifted. Now Coquina Key is in transition and starting to shine again. Depending on what you are looking for this property is well worth a review. ... more
