If you receive cash / checks, are you depositing the same exact amount every week / month into an account? This way your bank statements will be proof of your income. If you don't deposit the same amount weekly, how will you prove your income? Another issue is if your employer is willing to write a letter confirming you are employed and how much your income is.

You may have to wait until you file your income taxes and show your 1099 before you can buy a home.

Quality of work is there. They'd promise you moon until closing. After closing and warranty work really sucks. You can't get anyone to do anything for you. There were many minor issues prior to closing, as I said, they promised it'd get done before closing and they were not. When we called and send emails, we were told to contact warranty department. Guess what. You guessed it. NOTHING has been done. If you want get it right. Let them finish everything prior to closing. I hope these comments helps future buyers. ... more

What you do is contact a local agent for a professional opinion of value in the condo's present condition. Agents understand every repair has an associated price tag, but often what we see is much less of a problem than what a homeowner sees. Sometimes a broken light fixture only needs a light bulb, and a "running" toilet only needs a stopper. The cost of both examples is less than $20 instead of hundreds.

Use the Find an Agent tool at the top and call a few agents! Sell if you can and get a fresh start!

Best of luck!

The issue might be not having stable predictable income as an independent contractor. And the title must have been transferred out of your name a full 3 years ago. And Chapter 7 completed over 2 years ago.

Hello,

To remove a home from your saved homes, please follow these steps:

1. Hover your mouse over your screen name at the top right and click 'My Boards'.

2. Click the 'Saved Homes' tab. A list of your saved homes appears. Find the home you want to delete.

3. At the bottom right of the saved home, you will see a bubble with 3 dots. Click this. A gray pop up will appear with the option to delete.

4. Click delete.
