Home sales for the third quarter of 2009 versus the third quarter of 2010 are down 5% or $45,000. These numbers can be skewed by the mix of properties, those selling over a million dollars and those under a million dollars. The trend of late is a higher number of homes selling under a millon dollars then in the past. Cost/square foot is not revelant due to the variety of homes and locations. It is also skewed due the lack of number of sales. Number of sales per month are down 50-75% in St. Helena and the surronding communities.
